This product easily converts any light socket into a 360 degree motion sensor light. First, turn off your light switch. Next, screw our adapter into any indoor ceiling light socket, then screw in any incandescent (25W-100W) or compact fluorescent (10W-30W) light bulb to the adapter. Turn the light switch on. The motion sensor turns on your lights when it senses motion from all 360 degrees and turns them off four minutes after motion subsides, saving electricity costs. Our adapter senses motion 120 degrees within 20 feet. Great for closets, basements and garages!
The Motion-Activated Light Socket can save you up to $7 per year. The Department of Energy reports that the average household energy bill is $2,000 and lighting comprises 11.6% of this cost, or $232. If one bathroom equals 5% of the total lighting cost, or $11.60, and unintentional lighting in bathrooms can be as high as 60% of total bathroom lighting, then you can save $7, assuming an electricity cost of 11.7 cents per kWh.
